For ages, we’ve been discussing the possibility that Jackson Rathbone (a.k.a. Jasper Hale in the Twilight Saga) and his band, 100 Monkeys, could appear on one of the Twilight Saga film soundtracks, and this year, with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, it’s the last chance.
Previously, two actors from the films have appeared on one or more of the albums. Robert Pattinson (a.k.a. Edward Cullen) contributed “Let Me Sign” and “Never Think” to the Twilight soundtrack, while Mia Maestro (a.k.a. Carmen – Denali Coven) brought “Llovera” to the soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
Rathbone and the Monkeys, meanwhile, haven’t gotten onto any . . . yet.
A petition has been circling the web, with fans demanding that 100 Monkeys be included on the Part 2 album. So far, a couple thousand people have signed onto it, and whether it would have an actual impact on the decision-making process, it certainly couldn’t hurt for those who’d like to see this happen.
Rathbone and the Monkeys aren’t the only Twilight alums some fans want to see on the Part 2 album.
Pattinson, of course, is always a fan favorite for a soundtrack return. Fortunately, he’ll at least be contributing something to the movie’s music scene, as he’ll be playing “Renesmee’s Lullaby” on-screen.
Some Twilight fans would also like to see Billy Burke (a.k.a. Charlie Swan) considered for the album. Burke has just begun to dip his toes in the field of music, having released his own self-propelled album “Removed” in 2010.
So, do you want to see any of these castmates make the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 soundtrack? Why or why not?
